For generations, CSAA has provided Catholic youth throughout the Archdiocese of Louisville the opportunity to compete, grow and develop their talents. Our priorities are simple and intentional: faith first, education always, and athletics as an opportunity to build character.
Faith is at the center of who we are and how we compete. Our actions on and off the field should reflect Christ through respect, humility, service and sportsmanship.
Student comes before athlete. CSAA athletics supports Catholic education and the formation of the whole person — spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
Competition teaches teamwork, discipline, perseverance and responsibility while giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their God-given talents.
Championships create memories. But the greater victory
is found in teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship and
the relationships formed along the way.
CSAA athletics is about helping young people become
better athletes — and better people.

CSAA provides young athletes with opportunities
to compete while developing sportsmanship,
strengthening character and making the most
of their God-given talents.
Winning matters. Learning to compete the right
way matters even more.
Play With Purpose.

The purpose of the CSAA from its inception has been to provide opportunities for grade school students to play in well-organized and well supervised leagues. The CSAA strives to teach sportsmanship at all times, in all situations, and to teach the participants to play the games well. Teaching student athletes involved in CSAA programs to develop their God-given talents to the best of their ability while striving to become better people is of primary importance.
